Music Video: Editing

My partner and I began editing on Saturday, December 5th using iMovie. We spent majority of this time to transfer clips and scenes to one another, and figuring out what would be useful in the final film. We had a general idea of what we wanted in the project according to the storyboard. On the following Sunday, we took the almost 2 minute video and began shortening it again as well as adding transitions where we see fit. These include:

 *fade to black

*cross blur

*cross zoom

Finally, on Monday, December 7th we completed our editing process. My partner sent the original music video to me so I could "clean it up" and make it run smoother. I also added the song because there obviously could not be a music video without any music. I also tried to make the music video seem more dramatic buy having the clips change when the song had a beat drop.

Although the whole editing process lasted over a three day period, editing itself only lasted about an hour and a half and was considerably more easier than the last project I had completed. Furthermore, that could be due to me acquiring more skill as time went on, or because the music video was a much simpler process. Additionally, working with. the time limit this time around was much easier. With Lil Tjay's losses, I believe I accomplished creating a story that go alongside his overall message, a message that could be taken home with the audience. Although I did not have high performance equipment, I believe the general idea of this project has been made.
