Music Video Introduction

 Introduction

Instead of creating a commercial or a film, I will be creating a music video. this should be a fun and exciting project as I use different the of media that isn't as prominent in previous projects: music!

In this project, I will be working with a friend of mine, Cleveland Williams who has also helped me with the interview project on genre. I chose this person in particular because we have good chemistry and we can get work done together. he's reliable and he knows a great variety of music himself which is important because seeing things from a different perspective can change how you see things yourself.

The name of the song we chose was Losses by Lil Tjay, his latest hot single. It talks about his struggles and hardships while growing up including people he's lost, and his time served in jail. Here he explains his time being at the lowest of the low, thus taking a lot of losses. Other rappers would rap about extreme topics such as drugs, sex, and violence, but here, Tjay raps about something that's common to everyone and that's failing, seeing what or where you went wrong, and improving yourself so the same mistake doesn't happen twice! My favorite line is when her references using his hunger, or drive, to turn that into good vibes and motivation to become a better, more efficient person. This song also has a catchy flow and rhythm making easy to listen to wether you're in the car, while you're taking a shower, or even doing homework.
